Here is a deeply personal piano piece by Sarah Bonsignore. The composer grew up near the beach in Durban South Africa, a beautiful coastline with dreamy weather, rock pools for endless adventure, Indian ocean breezes and palm trees swaying. Sarah lost three of her brothers when they were all children, and memories of the water seems to be a unifying theme in a lot of her music. She finds wonder in the simplest of miracles, and has aways been fascinated by shells. These tiny remnants that once teemed with life both harnessed and carried dreams through the tides of time, and they are precious reminders of how fragile and fleeting the beauty of life is.
